New Beginnings

Not a clean slate, but definitely a new way of doing things. Let's hope it sticks.

Optimism

So... I was reading an article about Neil Armstrong's landing on the moon. It spoke of his famous comment, the symbol of the second half of the 1900's: "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind." The article noted something that made me smile... the author said it was a symbol for the optimism at the end of the century. The idea that anything is possible, that the future was bright, that anything could be overcome... I hope that our country, and the world, can get that feeling back again.

Man, I'm way too addicted to How I Met Your Mother. Damn.
